When Cody was broken up into 3 small schools, it was not given more resources. So now, rather than everyone sharing the available space, resources and activities everything is divided unevenly amongst the schools, with one school having robotics, another having AP classes, etc, but only the students in that specific school may utilize that resource. Among other problems, this has now resulted in Cody DIT not having access to the lunchroom until after 1pm, leaving students hungry throughout much of their day. And while each small school now has LESS to offer its students, it actually costs MORE to run, because each school has its own principal and administrators with their hefty salaries, costing x3 as much as normal. It has left schools like DIT being used as dumping grounds for student with any type of problem, be it learning, social or psychological, while providing no help to these students who need it the most.
